Following an extensive national search, Dr. Adams has been appointed Chief of Dermatology for Lassen Medical Group and Medical Director of Vita Dermatology and Laser Institute. He will be leading a team of clinicians in expanding the accessibility of cosmetic dermatology for the North State.

Dr. Adams is Board Certified in Dermatology. He received his Medical Degree from Oklahoma State University and completed his residency in Dermatology at Michigan State University. Prior to joining Lassen Medical Group, he served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Michigan State University. Prior to entering his dermatology residency, Dr. Adams served as a primary care physician in the United States Air Force for five years, serving in both Texas and California. Dr. Adams left the Air Force with the rank of Major.

He has published extensively, not only in dermatology, but also in pharmacology. His professional memberships include the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Osteopathic Association, and DO Care International.

Dr. Adams has a wide range of interests and brings a broad background to each patient visit. Oil painting and sculpting are two of his hobbies that complement his approach to helping patients look and feel their best. He also has interest in the history of medicine in native and ancient cultures.

Dr. Adams lives in Red Bluff with his wife, Suzanne, and their two daughters. When not in the office, Dr. Adams enjoys time with his family. He enjoys skiing, exploring caves, and backpacking.
