Nancy J. Anderson, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Anderson is Board Certified in Dermatology and belongs to 15 medical societies.

Her intense interest in dermatology has lead her to be involved in clinical research trials in viral diseases such as condyloma and herpes zoster.

Dr. Anderson was also recently active in three clinical trials in treating psoriasis.
Nancy J. Anderson, M.D., is a full Professor and Vice-Chair Residency Director of the Section of Dermatology at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital and Medical Center, and Chief for the Section of Dermatology at Jerry L. Pettis, V.A. Hospital.

Dr. Anderson graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1976. She was an Internal Medicine Resident at Loma Linda University Medical Center from 1976 to 1978 and completed her dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 1981. She joined Loma Linda University in 1992.

Dr. Anderson is Board Certified in Dermatology and belongs to 15 medical societies. She has authored 17 articles and averages 40 dermatology specialty lectures yearly to numerous hospital conferences, societies, and teaching residencies.

Dr. Anderson has been with Lassen Medical Group since 1990.

She has an active clinical and surgical dermatology practice with interests in aesthetic (cosmetic) dermatology, psoriasis and phototherapy, fungal skin diseases, and pediatric dermatology. She has been involved in clinical research trials in viral diseases such as condyloma and herpes zoster and recently was active in three clinical trials in treating psoriasis.

Dr. Anderson's other joys outside of medicine are spoiling her nephew, niece, and yellow lab. She also enjoys sports such as swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing and recently fly-fishing (all of the above with sunscreen!).
